BISC emerged as the champions of the International Turkish Hope School (ITHS) Inter-School Independence Day Cup Under-12 Football Tournament recently. BISC beat ITHS Gulshan in the final of the Cup Group. Meanwhile, Don Bosco became champions of the Plate Group defeating DPS in the final recently.
International Turkish Hope School, Uttara Pre-School, and Junior Section organized the football competition at the play ground of International Turkish Hope School in the city’s Uttara.
A total of 12 English Medium Schools took part in the football competition. They are; ITHS Green, ITHS Red, ITHS-Gulshan, Don Bosco, Sunbeams, South Breeze, Scholastica, Mastermind, BISC, DPS, Aga Khan School and Green Herald School.
Road Link Sourcing Company Limited sponsored the tournament. Former president of Bangladesh Movie Actors Association Ahmed Sharif was the chief guest of the final, while Head of Section of ITHS Uttara Pre-School and Junior Section Isa Guler was with him as the special guest. Chairman of ITHS Bedrettin Suata was present at the final.
