Today is the birthday of Poet Lily Huq. Marking the day a discussion, cultural function and recitation from the poem will be held in the Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of National Museum in the city’s Shahbag.
Emeritus Professor Rafiqul Islam will present at the programme as the chief guest while Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University Dr Mizanur Rahman as the special guest.
‘Aranya Amar Aranya’, ‘Madhyarater Khola Chithi’, ‘Akash Ami Bhalo Nei’ and ‘Adhophota Golap Amar’ are the notable books of Lily Huq.
