Biman opens Cox’s Bazar-Sylhet route 68 passengers on first day

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Cox’s Bazar-Sylhet route considering passengers demand and development of domestic tourism. From now on, the Cox’s Bazar-Sylhet route will operate a week on Sunday thrice, Tuesday and Thursday. As a result, the 12-hour road journey will now be completed in just an hour and a half.
This will develop the domestic tourism industry.
According to Cox’s Bazar Aviation Office sources, the first flight from Sylhet Osmani International Airport with 68 passengers arrived at Cox’s Bazar Airport on Thursday at 12:15 pm. Earlier, Biman’s Deputy General Manager (DGM-PR) Tahera Khandaker said in a statement on Tuesday that the flight would leave Sylhet for Cox’s Bazar at 11.45am on Tuesdays and 11.50am on Thursdays.
Besides, the Cox’s Bazar-Sylhet route will depart from Cox’s Bazar twice a week on Sundays at 12:05 pm and on Tuesdays at 1:45 pm for the holy land Sylhet.
