After a successful ODI series against new look Pakistan team, Bangladesh national cricket team going to face a new challenge as they play mighty full-strength Indian side which will tour Bangladesh from next month.
The expectation of Tigers fans reached in a high after whitewashing to Pakistan in ODI series as well as a positive Test series.
But, it would not be an easy task for Tigers which they achieved against strong India. Everyone praised the performance of Bangladesh’s against the second string Pakistan team saying that Tigers have gained much proficiency in cricket.
But still many think that the real ordeal for the Tigers is still spare which they have to be proved through the upcoming series against India.
Top order batsman Anmul Haque Bijoy, who has been kept in the 23-member preliminary squad for the India series, however admitted that the upcoming series is going to be a very challenging for them.
Talking to the reporters after a fitness training at the BCB Academy ground, Bijoy said India are coming with full-strength team which is going to be a tough challenge for them as the World media would play special attention on the series.
Bijoy, who was ruled out in the ICC World Cup due to injury, waiting to come back in squad in India series, said he is waiting to make a good start I the upcoming home series against India.
He firmly said that he would try to give his best performance if he would be given a chance in the final squad in India series.
Meanwhile, Indian cricket team will arrive on June 7 to play only Test and three-match ODI series against Bangladesh.
The Test will be played on June 10-14 at the Fatullah followed by three-match ODI series at Mirpur starting on June 18.
