The biennial conference and reception to intellectuals and reputed journalists will be held today at Chittagong Press Club Auditorium .
City Mayor A J M Nasir Uddin will grace the conference as Chief Guest and the President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul will inaugurate the conference . Secretary General of BFUJ Omar Faruk will address the conference as main speaker.
President of DUJ Shaban Mahmud will also participate as special guest. Sources said vice chancellor of USTC Prof Dr Prabat Chandra Barua, Deputy Editor of Janakanta Moazammul
Hoque, Joint Editor of Dainik Purbodesh Abu Taher Mahmud, journalist Mostafa Kamal Pasha, senior journalist Shahin Ara Begum will be accorded reception as intellectuals. President and general secretary of CUJ requested all members of the union to participate the conference.
