Robbers tried to loot the valuables from the house of an expatriate Tofayel Chowdhury in Binaibazar on Sunday night.
Family members alleged that unknown robbers using musk enter into their house by breaking lock and asked for Tofayel Chowdhury and they roughly behaved with other family members.
The miscreants left the houses as he was not available.
Nurjahan Begum, wife of the expatriate filed a case in this regard. Police visited the spot.
