Police rounded up 5 persons for alleged involvement with the creation of violence in the compound of Chittagong court building while trying to create anarchy, violence following the presence of BNP leaders and accused war crimes convict for another case hearing in the court yesterday.
War crimes convict Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury was brought in the premises of court at about 11 am yesterday and soon after reaching the prison van in court premises, a group of youths, lawyers, BNP leaders and workers started slogans in favour of the war crime convict Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury.
Instantly police rounded up 5 agitators and handed over to Kotwali thana police . War crimes convict Salahuddin Quader was brought in Chittagong from Kasimpur jail on Thursday for attending the transport ransacking case of Sitakunda before the national polls.
 Additional Deputy Commissioner of police of CMP Monsur Morshed told that additional about 3000 police forces have been deployed in the court building premises to avoid any nuisances .
 Police tacked the situation in the court building premises, sources said. Mentionable that Saqa Chowdhury was convicted with execution by the International War Crimes Tribunal on October 1, 2013 last.
