Entertainment Report :At present, internationally renowned fashion designer Bibi Russell is not seen to attend in any programme. Not only this, she is not available on TV screen. As a result, a large number of fans miss her at home and abroad. For the last four years she was absolutely absent in any show. Most of the time she has to be outside the country due to her professional purposes. After many days, Bibi Russell was present as chief guest at launching ceremony of a fashion house. She inaugurated PH (Parveen Hussain) Design Studio in the city’s Gulshan area recently. Parveen Hussain is a fashion designer who hailed from London. Bibi Russell along with noted photographer Chanchal Mahmud inaugurated the design studio. Under the coordination of Raina Mahmud Mitu, wife of Chanchal Mahmud, noted beauty expert Kaniz Almas, Bibiana’s Lipi Khondokar, Women’s World’s Kona Alam, among others, were also present at the inauguration.Basically in 2011, Parveen Hussain started fashion designing in London. In Dhaka, Bibi Russell first introduced her designed products through a display by the inauguration of the fashion studio.While talking about its launching designer Parveen Hussain said, “To make profit, is not my aim to introduce PH Design Studio in Dhaka. To reach quality products among the people and to create a fund for using in social welfare related activities are main vision of mine.”Parveen Hussain’s younger sister Jasmine became model of saree and gowns those were designed by Parveen. Meanwhile, after staying few days in Dhaka Bibi Russell will go to Uzbekistan. She will pass Eid holidays there. Many days Bibi Russell is not seen on the ramp. She said, “I cannot manage time now-a-days but I have keen interest in this regard.”
