Saving patent rights of inherited products

THE government is wasting time by trying to formulate the relevant rules and regulations of the Geographical Indication (GI) Act 2013 in order to protect the patent rights of traditional products like Jamdani, Hilsa fish, Nokshi kantha etc., reports different national dailies on Wednesday.
