Students of Barisal Health Technology Institute (BHTI) continuing their agitation programme on Sunday formed human chain and held demonstration to press home their ten-point demands.
The programme called by Bangladesh Diploma Medical Technology and Pharmacy Students Association was held in front of Ashwini Kumar Hall in city-center.
They also handed over a memorandum to the district civil surgeon and deputy commissioner of Barisal with an agitation procession.
The programme was presided over by Md. Hosen, convener of Bangladesh Diploma Medical Technology and Pharmacy Students Association. It was addressed among others by Chandan Adhikari, Sumon Bishwas, Nirjhar Mandal, Swapan Kumar Pal, Sajal Pal, Sanjib Majumdar, Golam Murshed, Arka Pal, Shekhar Mandal.
The BDMTPSA leaders cautioned that if their demands would not the fulfilled soon, then they will start heard movement for that.
