Jamaat activist stabbed to death in Gaibandha

UNB, Gaibandha :An activist of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants at Thutiapukurin Palashbari upazila early Thursday.The deceased was identified as Rustom Ali, a resident of the village. Gopal Chandra, officer-in-charge of Palashbari Police Station, said Rustom was wanted in several cases filed with the police station. He had been absconding since long.Abu Taleb, vice-president of Palashbari upazila unit Jamaat, said a group of unidentified miscreantsattacked Rustom and stabbed him indiscriminately in the dead of night...
