Our Correspondent :
A multi-talented schoolgirl named Nupur has been suffering without treatment for a long time. She is a 5th class student of Patharghata Government Primary School in Bhanguraupazila of Pabna and the daughter of poor Raton Mistry of that village. Two months ago, Nupur suddenly fell ill with severe body aches. Since then she has been bedridden. Her disease could not be identified as she could not afford the necessary treatment and tests.
Lakhi Biswas, an assistant teacher at Patharghata Government Primary School, said Nupur was very good at dancing, singing and sports as well as studying. She has enhanced the honor of the school by performing well in the national children’s competition.
But due to lack of treatment she is running towards death.
Nupur’s grandfather Nazrul Islam said Prof. Dr. Belal Uddin, head of the children’s department at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, thought Nupur had an infection in her blood. He has given many tests for this but it is not possible for him to get proper treatment without money. To save the girl’s life, her father Ratan Ali (01739449234) has sought financial help from the rich men.
