A workshop jointly organised by the Department of Law, BGC Trust University Bangladesh and Network for International Law Students ofml) Bangladesh chapter (NILS) on ‘Career in Law’ was held at Chittagong Zilla Shilpokola Academy on Saturday.
The Chairman of Department of Law, BGCTUB, Nazneen Akter, inaugurated the ceremony with her welcoming speech. Four Resource persons including Professor ABM Abu Noman, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Chittagong,
Mr. A. N. M. Morshed Khan, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rangamati, Chittagong, Masoma Zaman of Senior Assistant Secretary, Legislative & Parliamentary Affairs Division, Ministry of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs,
and Advocate Sheikh Iftekhar Saimul Chowdhury, President, Chittagong District Lawyers Association, delivered their speech focusing the different area of career opportunities available for law students.
After the completion of the ‘Speech of Resource Persons’ of the workshop, a grand closing ceremony was held. Prof Dr Saroj Kanti Singh Hazari, Vice Chancellor of BGC Trust University Bangladesh, graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest while AFM Aktaruzzaman Kaisar , Registrar, BGC Trust University Bangladesh and
the President of NILS Bangladesh, Nasrin Sultana were also present as special guest of the ceremony presided over by Nazneen Akter,The Chairman of Department of Law, BGCTUB.
At the closing ceremony, Crests were handed over to guest and resource persons of the workshop and certificate were also given to each of 250 participants of the workshop.
