BGB rescues 3 teen aged girls, boy before trafficking

Border Guard Bangladesh men rescued four teen-aged children including three girls while they were being trafficked to India on Tuesday night. Raiding an area along Putkhali frontier under Benapole port police station the BGB men rescued the four at around 9pm, said Benapole port police.
Rafiqul Islam, sub inspector, Benapole port police station told that the BGB men raided the area along the frontier just before the four were being trafficked to India at night. ‘The four were taken to the area saying them to provide with better jobs in India’, the SI added.
Suspected traffickers Jakir Hossain and Akhter Hossain of Benapole port area fled the scène sensing the presence of BGB personnel, said the police.
