Modern Armored Personnel Carriers (APC) and Riot Control Vehicles have been added to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) to enhance operational activities and capacity of it. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had adopted the ‘BGB Vision 2041’ plan to build the BGB as a world-class modern three-dimensional border guard force to meet the challenges of the 21st century, said a press release.
Following the vision, Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) have been procured to enhance the operational capabilities of BGB at various important borders and maintain internal security, it added.
