BFF announces 25-member preliminary squad for 17th Asian Games

Bangladesh Football Federation announced on Sunday the 25-member preliminary squad for the upcoming 17th Asian Games scheduled to be held in South Korea. Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team Lodewijk Darius De Kruif and Assistant Coach Rene Koster selected the 25 footballers for the preliminary squad.
The booters, who have been chosen, are : Shahidul Alam, Atiqur Rahman, Shahedul Alam, Tutul Hossain (Dhaka Abahani Limited), Zahid Hasan Emily, Hemonto Kumar Vincent, ASM Yusuf Sifat, Tapu Barman, Wahed Ahmed, Nahidul Islam, Imon Mahmud (Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited), Sohel Rana, Taklis Ahmed, Mamunul Islam Mamun, Raihan Hasan, Yamin Ahmed Chowdhury, Keshta Kumar Bose, Yasin Khan (Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club), Mithun Chowdhury (Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra), Omar Faruque Babu (Team BJMC), Jewel Rana, Rubel Mia (Brothers Union), Russell Mahmud Liton (Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra), Osman Gani (Uttar Baridhara Club) and Jamal Bhuiyan.
The selected players will take part in a coaching camp at BKSP in Savar from August 3 to September 12.
The selected players have been requested to report to Team Manager Md Amirul Islam Babu at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on August 3 at 12.00 noon. Players have been asked to present at the BFF House with their playing equipments on the same day.
