Beheaded body found in rooftop of police barrack

Police recovered the beheaded body of a young man from the rooftop of traffic police barrack in the capital’s Paltan area on Tuesday.
The body of the man, aged around 30-35, could not be immediately identified.
Golam Murshed Officer-in-Charge (PC) of Paltan Police Station said that traffic policemen residing in the barrack spotted the body on the rooftop of a six-storied building near Rajarbagh Police Lines around 11:30am. He said the body might be identified only after finding the missing head.
The beheaded body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Ashrafuzzaman, Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Motijheel Division), told The New Nation that police were looking for the severed head.
