The Walton 3rd Cox’s Bazar Beach Football Tournament will begin on May 16 at the Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach. Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association will arrange the three-day long football meet under auspices of Walton Group.
A number of eight teams will take part in the football competition. They are: Cox’s Bazar Abahani Krira Chakra, National Cox Krira Sangha, Malumghat Krira Sangha, Yougmens Club, Coat Bazar Players Association, Football Club Mohashkhali, Bashkata Players Association and Shatadal Club.
Regarding the upcoming football meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday. Senior Additional Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif, General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Anup Barua Apu, Secretary of the Walton 3rd Beach Football Tournament Committee Rashed Hossain Nannu, Administrator of Bangabandhu National Stadium Md Yahya were present at the conference.
The champions of the tournament will be awarded Taka twenty thousand while the runners-up of the meet will be given Taka fifteen thousand.
