The Walton 3rd Beach Bodybuilding Competition begins on Sunday at the Laboni Point in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation will arrange the three-day long bodybuilding meet under auspices of Walton Group.
To mark the upcoming bodybuilding competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
Senior Additional Director (Service Management System) of Walton Group Niamul Haque, Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Senior AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif, General Secretary of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation Md Nazrul Islam were present at the conference.
Above hundred athletes from 35 clubs and associations will take part in the bodybuilding meet.
The competition will be held in six weight categories. They are: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg and Above 80 kg.
The first place achiever of each weight category will be awarded Taka five thousand, the second place earner of each weight category will get Taka three thousand and the third place achiever of each weight category will be given Taka two thousand.
