The leaders of Bangladesh Dokan Malik Samity, Chittagong chapter called on Officer Incharge of Kotwali thana of CMP on Sunday last at latter’s office .
The team led by its President Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman, Working President Alhaj Abdul Khaleque, senior vice President Haji Shahabuddin, General secretary Syed Khurshid Alam also exchanged views with the OC on matters relating to different disadvantages of the business community including traffic congestion in the city during holy month of Ramadan.
The leaders also discussed the tyranny of the snatchers from the eid shoppers in different posh markets in the city . The leaders deamded additional police forces need to be deployed for more safety of the eid shoppers during night period .
Kotwali OC assured the BDMS leaders to provide every security measures to the shop owners and the eid shoppers during eid shopping .
All Presidents and secretaries of the respective merchants associations of the city were also present on the occasion.
