Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will play a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe in November at Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. After playing three ODI matches against Zimbabwe, the members of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will enter the bio-secure bubble environment. The qualifier matches of ICC Women’s World Cup will be held in Zimbabwe from November 21 to December 5.
After March of last year, Bangladesh Women’s team are going to play in the International matches.
Chairman of the Women’s Wing of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel said, ” The BCB and the Zimbabwe Cricket have finalized the tour of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team. Before the World Cup qualifiers, Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will take part in a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe Women’s Cricket team. We have finalized the bilateral ODI series because the qualifiers and World Cup will be held in 50-over-a-side format. So, Bangladesh Women’s Cricket will get a chance to prepare themselves for the World Cup.”
After ousted from the ICC Women’s World T20 tournament, Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team played only one competitive series in this year. Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team could not play against a national side. They played a five-match ODI series against South African Women’s Emerging Squad in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will leave Dhaka for Zimbabwe on November 4.
