BD will manufacture security surveillance, Hi-Tech equipment

Bangladesh will be equipped with state-of-the-art security surveillance equipment of world class security surveillance solution brand ‘HIKVISION’, digital devices, networking, telecom, AI and robotics equipment of other brands.
Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority has allotted two acres of land to Excel Intelligent Solutions Ltd at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City at Kaliakoir in Gazipur to set up a factory for these works.
A bilateral agreement on allotted land was signed at the conference room of Janata Tower Software Technology Park at Kawran Bazar in the capital recently.
Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and Gautam Saha, Managing Director of Excel Intelligent Solutions Ltd signed the agreement on their behalf.
Prof Dr Samir Kumar Saha, President of the Bangladesh Computer Samity, Shahid-ul-Munir, Vice President of Bangladesh Association of Digital Security and Automation (BADSA), Sagor Kumar Tito, General Secretary and Jalal Ahmed, members of Excel Management Committee of Business Develop Manager of HIKVISION Digital Technology Co Ltd in Bangladesh, among others, were present.
Among others who were present at the signing ceremony were officials of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority,
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Hosne Ara Begum said that the initiative to produce other digital and hi-tech equipment, including the world’s top and most reliable security surveillance equipments, is very promising in Bangladesh.
She assured that the authorities would extend all possible assistance to Excel Intelligent Solutions Ltd. for speedy production including setting up of factories.
“We want more local and foreign companies to start production by investing in hi-tech parks across the country,” she said.
In this way, Bangladesh will soon become an exporting country by meeting its own needs by implementing the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ program through the production of ICT products as directed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Md Shahid-Ul-Munir said that the ICT companies have started manufacturing ICT products by setting up factories in the country’s hi-tech parks, encouraged by the way the government is constantly assisting private entrepreneurs in the development and expansion of the ICT sector.
We hope that the country will soon become self-sufficient in ICT products.
