BD U16 Women hold South Korean school side 2-2

Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s Football team played out 2-2 draw against Hwacheon Information Industry High School Women’s Football Club in a keenly contested match at National Football Center of the KFA in Paju, South Korea on Monday.
In their 3rd preparatory match on the day, the visiting Bangladesh U16 side drew the game bouncing back from 2-0 goals down.
Thapu fired the net first for South Korean side in the 27th minute to take 1-0 lead. Chim Ching Wu doubled the lead in the 63rd minute 2-0.
At one stage, Bangladesh side changed their game strategy and put their more players to the forward area which eventually saw the first success in the 73rd minute as midfielder Sanjida Akhter reduced the margin 2-1.
Defender Shamsunnahar went forward and fired the net for the visitors in the 79th minute which settled the game 2-2.
Playing the attacking game in the death minutes, Bangladesh girls created some opportunities to score the winner but the forwards failed to convert those chances.
Bangladesh team suffered a 0-6 goals defeat against Korean U16 team in their first match and then bounced back in the tour with high morale crushing Korean Yulmyun Middle School team by 9-0 goals in the 2nd match in Paju.
They will wrap-up their tour, ahead of the AFC U-16 Championship in Thailand in September, campaign playing the last match against the Yulmyun Middle School team on July 19.
