The Bangladesh U-16 girls’ team will start their Japan tour with a winning note as they beat Academy Sakai by 2-1 goals in the FIFA tier 2 international friendly matches held on Thursday in Osaka, Japan.
In the day’s match, Sirat Jahan Shopna put Bangladesh ahead in the 20th minute while Sakai had restored the parity in the 30th minute.
Mishrat Jahan Moushumi sealed the victory for Bangladesh scoring the second goal in the 35th minute of the match.
The girls took to the field for their only friendly match before the J-Green Sakai tournament scheduled to be held on Saturday (January 28).
The red and green side will be featured in three matches in the SAKAI Lady’s Festival followed by a match on Sunday (January 29).
