Injury-hit Bangladesh team will meet South Africa in the third and last One Day International (ODI) match at Buffalo Park in East London, South Africa today. The last ODI match starts at 2.00 pm. GTV and Maasranga TV will telecast the match live.
Earlier, South Africa registered a 10-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first ODI at Kimberley in South Africa on October 15.
The Proteas posted a 104-run victory over the Tigers in the second ODI at Paarl in South Africa on October 18. Thus, South Africa have already clinched the ODI series 2-0.
Captain of Bangladesh team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, ” We shall play the third ODI against the hosts without our key batsman Tamim Iqbal and
bowler Mustafizur Rahman. We could not perform well as a team. But, we have still chance to come out.
“If we can perform well in today’s ODI, the experience will give us in the next tour matches. If we can forget our drawbacks, we can do something well.”
Coach of South Africa Neil McKenzie said, ” We shall try to win the last ODI also. Bangladesh played a better brand of cricket for some years. So, we do not take them lightly. The third ODI is also challenging for us.”
