Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim here said Bangladesh is on the right path to become a developed country by 2041 with the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Bangladesh will join the middle-income group by 2021 if our economy continues its 7 percent gross domestic product (GDP) growth trend,” he said this on Monday while inaugurating the secretariat building complex of Partners in Population and Development (PPD), an intergovernmental initiative created specifically for the purpose of expanding and improving South-to-South collaboration in the fields of reproductive health, population, and development, at Agargaon here, said a press release.”Bangladesh is continuing its developing process maintaining relationships with other countries. Government led by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is giving emphasis on strengthening bilateral, regional and international relationships,” said the minister.
