Bangladesh will meet Oman in their last Group ‘A’ match of the qualifying round of the ICC World Twenty20 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala, India today. The do-or-die match starts at 8.00 pm.
Bangladesh gained three points from two matches, while Oman collected three points from as many outings.
If Bangladesh win the today’s match, Bangladesh will qualify for the final round.
On the other hand, if Oman win the today’s clash, Oman will qualify for the final round.
If rain washes out the match, by virtue of better run rate Bangladesh will qualify for the final round.
A total of ten teams splitting into two groups will compete in the final round (Super Ten).
England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Afghanistan (qualified from Group ‘B’) will take part in the Group 1 of the final round.
Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and champions of the Group ‘A’ will participate in the Group 2 of the final round.
