The 46th edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI-2015) is scheduled to be held in Goa from November 20 to 30.
The festival is accredited with the International Federation of Film Producers’ Association. IFFI is the oldest and most prestigious international film festival in India which attracts filmmakers and film- lovers from all over the world, an Indian High Commission press release said here on Tuesday.
The festival has an ‘International Competition’ Section for feature films by filmmakers from all over the world, apart from the regular features of the festival, such as the Indian panorama, non-competition (cinema of the world), foreign retrospective, homage and focus.
“The total prize money for the Competition Sections is approximately US Dollar 1,50,000,” the release said.
Bangladeshi filmmakers and film organizations have been invited to participate in the festival. Registrations and entry forms can be accessed at the festival website www.iffi.nic.in.
