BD investment summit in KL Dec 5

Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) will organize ‘Bangladesh Trade and Investment Summit-2016’ in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia on December 5.
BMCCI President Md. Alamgir Jalil announced the programme in a press
 briefing at the National Press Club on Monday afternoon.
The summit will be held in collaboration with the High Commission of Bangladesh in Malaysia and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).
Former BMCCI president Syed Moazzam Hossain, Idham Zuhri Mohamed Younus, First Secretary of the Malaysian High Commission and Sabbir Ahmed Khan, Secretary General of the organization were present, among others.
The event will be supported by Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA), Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA), Public Private Partnership Authority Bangladesh, Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the High Commission of Malaysia in Bangladesh.  
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will attend the summit as chief guest while State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam and YB Datuk Chuna Tee Yong, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia will be the special guests.  
Md. Alamgir Jalil said this event is a flagship event to attract investment in Bangladesh.
The theme of this event is – “Sustainable Business – the Road to Progress” the BMCCI president added.
Syed Moazzam Hossain said, this will be the most innovative and challenging summit on important national issues of Bangladesh in respect of “Trade & Investment” promotion.
