BD -India joint meet to extend business held

A joint official level meeting of Bangladesh and India was held at Petrapole on Indian side on Thursday afternoon.
The meeting was held at the auditorium of Petrapole based camp of the Indian Border Security Force.
Surjit Bosh, Additional District Magistrate, 24 Parganas, India was the chief guest in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Marufur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner, Benapole customs, Aminul Islam, deputy director, Benapole port authority, Mehedi Imran Siddiqui, assistant superintendent of police, Jessore, Apurba Hasan, officer in-charge, Benapole port police station, Kamal Hossain, vice -president, Benapole Customs Clearing and Forwarding Association, Mohsin Milon, Joint Secretary on behalf of Bangladesh side while Shankar Adda, chairman, Bangaon Municipality, Major HSZ, commander, Petrapole BSF, Rahul Mathur, Deputy Commissioner, Petrapole Customs, Shubhajit Dutta, Director, Petrapole Port Authority, Swapon Sheth, president, Petrapole C&F Agents Staff Welfare Association and Katriak Chatterjee, General Secretary attended the meeting for India.
The meeting decided that India wound export 200 trucks laden with rice and other perishable goods, 400 trucks of general goods and 100 trucks of machinery good every day.
