BD-India joint border talks held

A joint border talk between Bangladesh and India was held in Chittagong on Wednesday .
 The summit talks between the officials of Bangladesh and India begins at Chittagong Circuit House at 10 am with friendly atmosphere.
 The officials discussed the matters of mutual interests with friendly environment. Deputy Commissioner of Rangamati Shamsul Arefin led the Bangladsesh side and Deputy Magistrate of Langlai District of Mizoram Ashish Mokdar for Indian side. .
 This is second talks of district level so held in chittagong . Shamsul Arefin after end of the talks told the media than they have discussed on border situation between these two friendly countries . The decisions of the talks will be sent to the respective govt for final decision, they said. Liason officer of Chittagong district Administration told the media that all officials of district levels were present in the meeting. Besides, Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong , Bandarban and the Divisional commissioner of Chittagong , police officials and BGB high officials of two districts were present in the talks. Sources said the joint border talks specifically discussed the border situation, illegal trafficking through border and cross border trading and other logistic supports in between the districts of Chittagong Hill districts and Mizoram states of India . Indian visiting team left Chittagong yesterday, sources said.
