BD Hockey team lose to Pakistan in warm-up match

Bangladesh Hockey team lost to Pakistan by 1-3 goals in their warm-up match at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Earlier, the hosts suffered a 4-1 goals defeat to Japan in their first practice match at the same venue on December 10.
The match between Bangladesh and Pakistan was held for 45 minutes.
The hosts and the tourists played the first quarter for 15 minutes, while the other three quarters took 30 minutes.
Rakibul Hasan of Bangladesh scored the first goal for the hosts in the first quarter. Later, the home side conceded three goals in the three quarters of the match.
Bangladesh will face India in their first match of the Asian Champions Trophy at the same venue on December 15.
Pakistan will take on Japan in their first match.
A total of five teams will take part in the Asian Champions Trophy, the prestigious hockey meet of Asia. Hosts Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Korea and Japan will compete in the hockey competition.
