BD going forward thru PPP: Mustafa Kamal

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Sunday underscored the need forintensifying the Public Private Partnership (PPP) activities to take forward the countrytowards development.
“We are trying to take forward the country through united efforts of public private sectors,” he said while addressing as the guest of honour at a seminar titled “Challenging Interface of Security and Development” at Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) auditorium in the city.
The minister said Bangladesh is going forward to set targets to make a poverty and hunger-free country and ensure knowledge based education for all by 2030 and the development will be inclusive and sustainable.
The government is working for providing facilities including proper education in all villages across the country to reduce migration of the villagers to cities, he added. “We are prioritizing education to bring down the poverty line at zero percent,” he said.
Mustafa Kamal also said conspirators are at work to hinder the country’s development and undermine Islam through militant activities. “We need to identify the problem and we need to identify origin of the problem.”
