Bangladesh is now globally well-known as an emerging nation for tremendous socioeconomic developments achieved under visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her time-befitting steps.
The country has achieved epoch-making successes during the past six and a half years on its way to become a middle-income nation by 2021 and subsequently developed one by 2041 under the able leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Road Transport & Bridges Nazmul Hoque Prodhan said this at a discussion in the inaugural ceremony of three-day ‘Development Fair- 2015’ at Atoari upazila parishad premises in Panchagarh yesterday.
Atoari upazila administration has been organising the fair for highlighting various effective steps taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in pushing the country towards a middle income nation through speeding up socioeconomic developments.
After formally inaugurating the fair, Prodhan visited the stalls set up there by the upazila level different government departments and organisations demonstrating the government successes achieved in every sector of socioeconomic developments.
Later, he attended the post-rally discussion arranged by the upazila administration on the fair premises as the chief guest with Atoari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abu Rafa Mohammad Arif in the chair.
Atoari Upazila Chairman Abdur Rahman, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Tauhidul Islam, President of Panchagarh district JSD Abdul Mazid Babul, its General Secretary Abdus Sattar and Upazila Muktijoddha Commander Nazrul Islam addressed.
The chief guest narrated tremendous socioeconomic successes achieved by the present government under leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the process of building a middle income nation on its road to a developed Bangladesh.
