Sports Reporter :
After a heroic fight against England in the first One Day International (ODI) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on September 7, motivated Bangladesh will take on England in the second ODI at the same venue today. The encounter begins at 2.30 pm BST (Bangladesh Standard Time). BTV and GTV will telecast the match live from the venue.
Manager of Bangladesh Cricket team Khaled Mahmud Sujan said, “I think still we have chance to get something from this series. Though we trail the series 1-0 but the series can be 2-1. All the members of our team believe this. There is a pressure because England are professional side. They are good ODI team. We believe that we can win the series.”
He said, ” After Friday’s outcome, players of Bangladesh will be more confident. We shall recover from our mistakes. Bangladesh will play for win.”
Captain of England team Jos Buttler said, “I think a lot of guys will take confidence from the way we played. We have proved ourselves that we can play in the fashion we want to in these conditions. We were brave to do that we took it on and that was probably one of the most pleasing things.”
