Members of Bangladesh Football team returned to the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city on Wednesday night.
Bangladesh booters returned home from Malaysia with a failure AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign.
The booters will join the training session of their respective clubs. The footballers of Bangladesh Football team will resume their practice session from today.
The TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football will restart from June 20. The referees of the BPL Football called strike for their some reasons. If the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) can solve the problem, the BPL will resume on June 20.
A total of 37 days were without BPL Football due to the AFC Cup Qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. Bashundhara Kings took part in the AFC Cup Qualifiers. Bashundhara Kings bade the AFC Cup Qualifiers holding their heads high.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Football team showed a poor performance in the Group-E matches of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. Bangladesh made a sorrow start in their AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers as they lost to Bahrain by two goals to nil in their opening match at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur on June 8.
The red-and-green outfit suffered a 1-2 goals defeat to Turkmenistan in their second match at the same venue on June 11.
Bangladesh tasted a massive 1-4 goals defeat to Malaysia in their third and last match at the same venue on June 14.
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh failed to earn any point in that football meet. Bangladesh also lost their FIFA rankings for four points. Bangladesh have taken 192nd position, according to the latest FIFA rankings.
