Bangladesh Under-20 Football team beat Bhutan Under-20 Football team by 2-1 goals in their second Group-B match of the AFC Under-20 Championship Qualifiers at Sheikh Ali bin Mohammed Khalifa Stadium in Bahrain on Monday night.
Bangladesh led the first half 1-0.
The Red-and-Green outfit scored their first goal in the 34th minute.
Bhutan’s youth leveled the margin in the 60th minute.
Bangladesh sealed the fate of the match (2-1) in the 88th minute of the clash.
Earlier, Bangladesh played a goalless draw with hosts Bahrain in their first Group-B match at the same venue on September 10 at the same venue.
Bangladesh collected four points from two matches.
Bangladesh will take on Qatar in their third Group-B match on September 16 at the same venue.
The Red-and-Green outfit will face Nepal in their last Group-B match on September 18 at the same venue.
It may be mentioned that Bangladesh Under-20 Football team became runners-up in the recently concluded SAFF Under-20 Championship.
