A group of BCL activists of Chittagong University (CU) unit allegedly beat up two students of mass communication and journalism on the campus on Wednesday.
The victims are Jummam Akbar and Samin Yasir.
Jummam said around ten unknown persons picked him up and took him to a nearby tea stall on the campus and beat him up. They also attacked Samin when he tried to rescue him. Witnesses said the attackers were BCL activists loyal to CU BCL General Secretary Fazly Rabbi Sujan.
