Faction clash between two groups of Chatra league occurred in Chittagong Govt college left 3 activists injured .
The clash occurred on Saturday afternoon, sources said. Police and eye witnesses sources said at about 12 noon, a group BCL activists entered the college campus with slogans of City AL General Secretary and Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin . After their entrance , altercations began with the other group previously staying in the campus to welcome the admission seekers in eleven class .
Immediate after altercations, chase counter chase erupted in between the groups left three injured with hits of cricket bats.The injured students are Yousuf Kabir, Biswjit and Kaiser Hamid. The injured students were admitted in a private clinic, sources.
Officer- in -charge of Chowkbazar Thana Aziz Ahmed told that sensing the news of clash of Chhatra League,police forces rushed to the spot and brought the situation. under control. Mentionable that Bangladesh Chatra league snatched domination of Chittagong College and Mohsin College from the clutch of Chatra Shibir on December 16 , 2015 after 3 decades. At present , the College sangsad of these two public colleges are being governed by the followers of former Mayor Mohiuddin Chowdhury.
