BCL cadres ransack land registration office in Barishal

The land registration office at Gournadi was ransacked and four staffs injured by attack of BCL , student front of ruling Awami League, cadres after officer denied to registry sale deed by forged owners and minor aged boy.
Among the injured Kawsar Hossain, upazila deed writer association president, and Enayet Hossain, land office assistant, admitted at local upazila health complex, after the incident and others released after taking first aid.
The incident happened at late afternoon on Sunday at Gournadi upazila town under Barishal district.
Mubasswera Siddika, Sub registrar of Gournadi land office, as complainant lodged a case in this connection against 13 accused with Gournadi police station on Sunday late night, said Golam Sarwar, officer in charge of Gournadi police station. Police trying to arrest the accused, the OC of Gournadi PS told.
Among the accused included Sumon Mahmud Molla, BCL leader and former vice president of Gournadi government college students union, Shakhawat Hossain Sujon, college unit BCL president, Milon Khalifa, municipal unit BCL president and other activists were unnamed.
