BCB squad take on Afghanistan in lone practice one-day match today

BCB squad will take on Afghanistan Cricket team in the lone practice one-day match at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah today. The match begins at 9.00 am.
Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday announced the 13-member BCB squad for the lone practice one-day match against Afghanistan.
BCB squad (for practice match):Imrul Kayes, Anamul Hoque Bijoy, Mosadek Hossain Saikot, Shabbir Rahman, Litton Kumar Das, Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury, Abu Hider Rony, Sanjamul Islam, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Md Al-Amin (Jr), Shuvashish Roy Chowdhury, Mehedi Hasan Miraj and Alauddin Babu.
Meanwhile, a 17-member Afghanistan Cricket team arrived in the city to play three One Day International (ODI) matches against their counterpart Bangladesh Cricket team.
Afghanistan will play against Bangladesh in the first ODI on September 25, second ODI on September 28, third ODI on October 1. All the matches will be taken place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. All the occasions will be Day/ Night Affairs and the matches begins at 2.30 pm.
The players of Afghanistan are: Asghar Stanikzai (Captain), Mohammad Shahzad (Wicketkeeper), Rahmat Shah, Mirwais Ashraf, Dawlat Zadran, Samiullah Shenwari, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Farid Ahmed, Amir Hamza, Najibullah Jadran, Nawroz Mangal, Nabhinul Haq, Karim Jannat, Shabir Noori and Ihsanullah Jannat.
