Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Wednesday the 14-member Bangladesh Test squad which will play against India in the upcoming lone Test match scheduled to be held at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah from June 10 to June 14.
Pacer Rubel Hossain and spinner Jubaer Hossain have been recalled in the squad. Rubel Hossain will be the replacement of injured pacer Shahadat Hossain. All-rounder Nasir Hossain was not included in the Test squad.
Liton Kumar Das has been included in the squad after showing a notable performance in the National Cricket League. He scored 1024 runs with 85.33 consistent average.
The cricketers, who have been selected, are: Mushfiqur Rahim (Captain), Tamim Iqbal (Vice-Captain), Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shakib Al Hasan, Soumya Sarker, Shuvagata Hom, Mahammad Shahid, Abul Hasan, Jubaer Hossain, Rubel Hossain, Taijul Islam and Liton Kumar Das.
