Sports Reporter :Thousands of cricket lovers gathered on Saturday at the Manik Mia Avenue to join the reception accorded the Bangladesh Cricket team by BCB in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban to see their heroes, who brought success from the recently concluded World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand.The stage was prepared just in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) accorded a reception to the members of Bangladesh National Cricket team for their heroic performance in the recently concluded ICC World Cup Cricket 2015. The reception was held in a befitting manner in the city’s Manik Mia Avenue. Bangladesh Cricket team into the quarter-finals of the ICC World Cup Cricket for the first time moved and also recorded a respectable performance.Besides, BCB, Minister for Finance Abul Maal Abdul Muhith was present on the occasion as the chief guest. State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Kamal was also present with them.The noted bands of the country performed one after another and the cricket fans were delighted to listen their songs. Nemesis, a local band started the concert. After that Cryptic Fate, Miles, Warfage, Aurtohin performed at the stage and entertained the audience.Meanwhile, BCB has announced one lakh 62 thousand and five hundred us dollars as a bonus for the members of Bangladesh National Cricket team. Besides, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the Captain of Bangladesh World Cup squad will get Tk two lakh for his plucky captaincy.The bonus money will be given later in a gala ceremony.
