BSS, Brahmmanbaria :Thirty persons were injured in a clash between two rival groups of BNP at Naogaon union under Sarail upazila of the district on Friday evening.The clash originated over a dispute of invitation of chief guest in the condolence meeting of president of Naogaon Union BNP Ayub Ali. During the condolence meeting altercation started between the two rival groups at Ashrafuddin high school ground under Naogaon union of Sarail upazila.At one stage of altercation, clash started between the two rival groups, in which injured 30 activists of both the groups of BNP and the condolence meeting was foiled.Receiving information police from Sarail Thana rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Police were deployed there to maintain peace and avoid further clash in the area. Injured persons were admitted to different hospitals and clinics in the area and district town.Officer in Charge (OC) of Sarail Thana Ali Arshad confirmed the incident. None was arrested and no case was filed in this connection.
