Bangladesh Bank has awarded a “Letter of Appreciation” to City Bank for achieving disbursement target of Agricultural and Rural Credit for the fiscal year 2014-2015, according to a press release.
Mashrur Arefin,Additional Managing Director of City Bank received the award from S.K. Sur Chowdhury, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank at a simple ceremony on Wednesday.
Also present at the event were Subhankar Saha, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank and M. K. Rasedul Hasan, Acting Head of SME & Agribusiness value center of City Bank.
City Bank is confident to achieve the disbursement target of Agricultural and Rural Credit for the fiscal year 2015-2016 as well, the press release said.
