On the occasion of Mujib Year, at Bauphalin Patuakhali, Bauphalupazila administration distributed seeds among the poor farmer, blankets among the cold-stricken people, wheelchairs among the cripples, allowances among the Bede community, scholarships among the poor students and three tea stalls among three beggars for rehabilitation themselves. In addition, 366 national flags were given to the various educational institutions and 15 laptops to the assistant land officers.
Patuakhali Deputy Commissioner Md. Matiul Islam Chowdhury distributed these items in his presence as the chief guest.

After the distribution ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the winter badminton tournament at the upazila premises.
