Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) have turned 20 years of established. To mark this auspicious moment grand celebration programs have thrown for involving more youth innovators with it.
On the occasion a press conference held at BASIS Auditorium at Karwan bazaar. BASIS 20 Years Celebration Committee’s Convener and Former President HN Karim, Founding President of BASIS A Touhid, BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, BASIS Senior Vice President Farhana A Rahman and BASIS Youth Fest’s Convener Delowar Hossain Faruk were spoke in the press conference.
Speaking here HN Karim elaborated the plan of celebrating BASIS’s 20 Years. He said, “we have planned to highlight BASIS’s journey of 20 years through publishing history book, organizing joint program with national, international, public and private stakeholders.”
BASIS Student’s Forum, BASIS Women’s Forum will participate in the functions.
BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir said, all the partners of BASIS will come together to celebrate the success. BASIS’s 20 Years will highlight 20 glorious and uprising years of Bangladesh’s ICT sector.
“We are going to kick of this event with Youth Fest Supported by BASIS Student’s Forum. Apart from this, BASIS Women’s Forum will organize Celebrating Women at Work. We are going to organize weeklong E-Commerce Festival offering special discounts for customers. We are going to organize networking program with national-international stakeholders, launch BASIS history book and above all end with Grand Gala Night,” further said.
BASIS 20 Years Celebration will kick off with Youth Fest which will take place on Amphitheatre, Hatirjheel on 6 October, 2018.
