Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) distributed blankets among the cold victims on Thursday.
BASIS Vice -President M Rashidul Hasan distributed the blankets in various orphanages and among poor cold victims residing in Norshingdi and Sonargaon.
Ahmed Khan, Managing Director of BVC relatives and other local people were present on the occasion.
Agrani Bank and BASIS member companies supported the blankets donation programme.
Recently, BASIS and Agrani Bank took similar initiative where blankets were distributed among the poor in Noakhali.
