Kazi Nasir Uddin Babul has re-elected for the post of President of Shaheed Abdur Rob Serniabat Barisal Press Club Election-2022. He won with 41 votes. His rival candidate Manabendra Botbal got 33 votes, although Murad Ahmed was on the list of presidential candidates but no votes were cast in his favor as he did not participate in the polls. Earlier, in the last election held on December 24, these three presidential candidates got 24 votes in the same way and a new election was held on Friday.
At that time SM Zakir Hossain was elected as the General Secretary with 36 votes.
On the other hand, his rival candidate Kazi Miraj Mahmud got 35 votes. At the same time, Kazi Al Mamun and Pulak Chatterjee have been elected vice-presidents. M Zaheer has been elected as the co-general secretary. Treasurer Sukhendu Edbar. Library Secretary Khan Rubel. Literary and Cultural Secretary KM Nayan, Sports Secretary Arefin Tushar. Office Secretary M Lokman Hossain. On the other hand, M Mofazzal, Sumon Chowdhury, SM Iqbal, Mizanur Rahman, Tapankar Chakraborty, Kamal Sen Gupta and Razzaj Bhuiyan have been elected as executive members.
