Desired service not available in
 private hospitals in Sylhet
Sylhet Bureau adds: Coronavirus has spread panic among all. The doctors are no exception. This fear is especially prevalent among those who are working in various private hospitals.
Patients coming to the service have suffered the most. In addition to the symptoms of coronavirus infection, people suffering from other diseases are being rushed to private hospitals in Sylhet for consultation.
This kind of incident is happening not only in private hospitals but also in government hospitals in Sylhet.
The parent of a patient suffering from chest pains said that he went to a private hospital in Sylhet city for chest pain. There, first the hospital receptionist after duty doctor made them incompetence. Later, a nurse performed the ECG.
On seeing the incompetence of the duty doctor, he brought his patient out of the hospital.
Similar complaints have been received from several other patients.When any kind of patient goes to the hospital, doctors are hesitant to come first. Doctors are going to the patient after confirming that there are no symptoms of fever, cough, and cold.
Many private hospital doctors are not just beside the patient with fever or cough.They advise these patients to go to public hospitals. Even after going to a government hospital, there is no getting rid of such an embarrassing situation.
The doctors working there are doing almost the same thing.
One patient expressed anger that the situation was so similar that every private hospital-clinic authority wanted no patients to be admitted. Sick people in Sylhet city are now helpless.Patients and family members are being broken by the inconsistency and dissension of the service providers. The general public has sought the administration’s intervention to avoid such situations.
